Before founding High Country Builders in 1990, Walt made his living as a cattle rancher in the mountains of southeast Wyoming. Walt's love for the old world craftmanship and unique designs of the old homesteads and barns of the region are reflected in his blend of old and new materials in his homes today.
With Walt's eye for detail and High Country Builders team of expert craftsman, his company has quickly risen to the top of the custom home market. High Country Builders has been recognized both locally and nationally as a leader in the industry.
